norway

I’ve been holed up in a practice room in rauland for the better part of forever, it seems… when I remember that there’s a world out there, it’s a pretty great one. went for a mountain hike today and picked wild tyttebaer (cranberry-type tasty guys) and drank from a waterfall. I’ve been extra motivated since buying my very own hardingfele:

I’m crazy about it, and so happy that I’ll be able to bring the instrument I’m studying home with me. already plotting projects for the spring. but before I get too carried away with all that, the jenny ritter band is touring scandinavia for the first time in january / february! we’ll be larking around sweden, norway and a bit of denmark as an acoustic trio. very excited to spend some train time with some of my favourite musicians.
